Dr. Ramírez provides training, workshops, and consulting services to individuals and organizations:
seeking to improve their psychological services to Latino/a/x/e communities and undocumented communities with/without DACA status with a focus on intersectional identities
seeking to improve overall morale and well-being through the use of targeted coping skills
seeking to improve their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion practices
Dr. Ramírez has extensive experience treating and working with Latino/a/x/e communities and undocumented communities with varying legal statuses. She has experience in modifying CBT and mindfulness techniques to better meet the needs of these communities.
Dr. Ramírez helps other mental health professionals who may feel stuck with a client from these populations. A consultation call can help conceptualize the presenting problem/s, modification of interventions, and identify any countertransference issues.
Dr. Ramírez provides mental health workshops to lay people and organizations seeking to improve their mental health. A workshop can be tailored to the specific needs of the individual/ organization and typically entails an introduction to mental health, the connection between the mind/body/ spirit, and evidence-based practices that support a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Ramírez provides trainings to other mental health professionals seeking to further increase their cultural awareness and sensitivity to Latino/a/e/x communities and undocumented communities with varying legal statuses. Trainings are tailored to the needs of the organization and typically include: a historical background, a broad overview of immigration law and current policies, how these policies impact mental health, modification of interventions, and exploration of countertransference issues.
Fee: determined based on organizational needs, duration of services, travel, and materials provided.
