About All Good Things

What if our communities didn’t have to keep fending for themselves in order to survive in a system that doesn't take them and their issues into account? What if we stopped being told to “make do” and instead were given the space, care, and dignity we’ve always deserved? That’s the question Dr. Norma Ramírez has been asking throughout her life and the question that might be stirring in you right now, too.

She grew up watching her mother do the impossible, stretching $7 an hour to feed a family, hold a household together, and navigate the invisible weight of being undocumented in the U.S. Like many immigrant daughters, Norma learned early how to hold it all, even when no one was holding her.

She also knows what it feels like to be dismissed and unseen in the very spaces meant for healing. To share something personal, like her immigration status or emotional pain, and be met with a lack of safety and cultural competence. One therapist told her to “just go back to Mexico.” Others tried to diagnose her without understanding her humanity. So it’s no wonder many of us stop asking for help. But Norma didn’t stop. She turned that pain into purpose and now helps others do the same.

As a DACA recipient and now one of the few Latina psychologists with a PhD in Nevada, Dr. Ramírez created All Good Things Psychological Services as both a response and a revolution. A response to a mental health system that too often overlooks the lived experiences of marginalized people and a revolution in how we approach healing.

This isn’t traditional therapy. At All Good Things, your healing begins with you, your story, your culture, your emotions, your voice. Dr. Ramírez doesn’t treat clients like problems to be solved. She walks with them, helping them reconnect with their power, break harmful cycles, and feel safe in their own skin.

Her approach is deeply human, culturally grounded, and unshakably respectful. Clients often say things like, “No one has ever helped me like this before.” Because here, you’re not just seen, you’re guided back to your own power because you are the expert, and you're reminded that you already have what it takes to heal.

And if you’ve been hurt or not understood in other spaces, therapy included, know this:
This time can be different. All Good Things is a safe space to process, overcome and be seen, heard and understood. You are worthy of All Good Things. And we’re here to help with personal and professional experience and true quality culturally competent care.
